1. I liked the fact that the hotel provided an in room coffee maker; an important feature for me.

2. I like going around Mid December for Christmas shopping on Rue Royal, and the Monteleone often has special discount rates 'Santa Poppa Xmas' at that time of year.

4. The room was not large by American standards, but it was comfortable and had plenty of space for luggage, had all the ameneties that anyone would need like hair dryer, nice clean bathroom, storage space, iron, etc.

10. ) The hotel had a major restoration a few years ago and came through it well: the public areas and the guest rooms still look like they are a hundred years old, but in a very good way.
