My guess is that if others had a
pleasant
experience with the front desk staff at the Q&C it's because they did not overbook your room and you didn't spend more than a couple minutes with them.

Front desk guy wasn't very
pleasant
and couldn't get our car keys back from valet for whatever reason the first night, so after waiting an hour with no results we decided to walk for our dinner.
