1. Regrettably (or fortunately as was the case), the hotel is conveniently located to so many excellent restaurants and bars, that we didn't return to our room until about 3 hours before our scheduled 4 a.

4. It was so convenient to everything in the downtown (I didn't have a car so I walked or took public transportation and I covered a pretty wide swath), and only a few minutes from the airport.

The hotel is in a great location, on a ritzy stretch of downtown Portland and very close (within a 5 to 10 minute walk in most cases) to Portland's vast array of local pubs, bars, lounges and restaurants, as well as a short walk to the Pearl, the Waterfront, and a slightly longer (but still totally convenient) walk to 23rd for shopping and dining.
