1. Ambient noise:The street noise was as expected in downtown (Portland is a pretty quiet town), but internally there was a permanent loud and un-turn-offable rotating fan hum, even with the aircon off, which disturbed sleep.

Great things:- Fantastic downtown location, but rooms still nice and quiet - Very comfortable beds- Super helpful staff- Has a personality, doesn't feel like a chain hotelCould improve on:- Restaurant seems expensive, but there are loads of great places nearby for breakfast and dinner at a more reasonable price.
