1. For most people this gym would be overkill and the gyms and pools at most Ritz hotels are good enough and free, so I wish the hotel did not have this charge.

5. It is too bad that there is no swimming for anyone under 18 in the pools as well.

7. Having said that, we had a rather rude awakening when we went to use the pool however, where a young woman gave us a pretty blunt brushoff when we turned up with our well-behaved children and were pointedly informed that 'family hours are from 11 to 3 on Sundays'.

8. The other thing that wasn't good was that the kids weren't allowed to swim in the pool besides from 11-3 do to club policy.

10. I enjoyed free access to this as part of my rate -- I think the normal hotel rate for access is $15/day -- and can report that it has ample state-of-the-art machines and free weights, as well as a decent (but busy) lap pool.
