5. This was my experience:- Front desk very helpful- I read the comment ' scary neighborhood' You may see some homeless and weird people at one block from the hotel, but looks that you can find them all around the city, even at 6th street, but they don`t bother you at all.

6. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, but there were no non-smoking rooms available when I checked in, thus I had to wait several hours to check in; it wasn`t a problem, since I had friends who had already checked in and I was able to leave my suitcase in their room.
