1. The hotel restaurants are expensive, no question, and you don't have many options as there are only two hotels on the island (plus a local hotel in Lanai City about 20 minutes away), but that's the price of staying at such a quiet island.

3. Second leg of our anniversary vacation,stayed five days,found everything to be excellent,service was great,getting around the Island no problem,dolphins and whales coming into the bay to say hello is unforgettable,price shouldn't be an issue if you stay here,if it is,Maui is a better bet,saltwater pool is good,but small,and kids will tend to take it over,but kids are kids!,recommend renting a jeep for seeing the most remote areas,i.

4. We chose the FS because the price for the wedding package was reasonable (for upscale Hawaii) and what we wanted (no etched wineglasses or bathrobes for us thanks!).

5. They do charge you automatically for shuttle service, but it is such a small price to pay for the convenience, with shuttles running every half an hour to the city and to the Lodge.

6. If the Four Seasons wants to charge premium prices for good bottles of wine, that is perfectly acceptable--as long as they are properly stored and served at the appropriate temperatures.

8. I would say the room itself was nice but had recently stayed at Sheraton Maui for half the price and room was about the same.
