1. Also, if you decide not to buy into their timeshare program but are still interested in it maybe at a later date, they will offer you a discounted hotel package good for a stay within the next 18 months or so.

6. I think good customer service would have said that if my original reservation wasn't available they should upgrade me rather than downgrade, and if having to downgrade they should then further discount.

7. Since I'm a Marriott Associate I stayed on a discounted rate and we did not receive maid service but that didn't matter much since we were only there 3 days.

8. Highly recommend the Paradise Cove luau; book it on line yourself using a discount website and save about 25% over price that the concierge will get for you.
