Hit the walmart, costco or any of the stores a 5 minute drive down the road and stock up because this place is over the top with there prices for everything a drink at Happy Hour $9 really,i think if they make the prices for food and drinks a little cheaper they would make more money,cause like myself and others we hit the cvs (longs drug store) they sell liquor go figure and decent prices.

4. Also, a huge tip -- the small market in the shopping center is part of the ABC Store chain and has the same decent prices and selection, AND a terrific deli that can make you great sandwiches, cooked to order breakfast, etc. They even have some spam musubi if you know what that is.

5. When we first booked, we grabbed a 'penthouse mountain view' for a good price hoping for an ocean view upgrade (turns out marriott status doesnt help with beach club.
