5. We discovered that housekeeping makes rounds fairly early in the morning so we made sure we had our Do Not Disturb sign out to prevent them from knocking.

8. I finally walked to the room myself and discovered that whoever had checked out that morning had left a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door therefore housekeeping did not clean it.

9. When i called the front desk and informed them of this they sent housekeeping to it and had it cleaned so we did not get our second room until 6:00 and I am not sure that we ever would have if I had not gone myself to check on it.
