2. I arrived late after negotiating the Portland freeway system and was greeted by a not unfriendly but not friendly person, checked in and when I asked where the elevator to the room was located, I was told to go around two corners to the elevator with a point of the finger .

3. Our room also looked over the freeway exit and accelerating and decelerating cars could also be heard in the room.

4. While it is a large, older hotel, the location was convenient (it's easy to get on and off the freeways and get just about anywhere you need to go in Portland from this hotel).
