1. The noise of the cocquis (tropical frogs) is great and makes it all feel exotic, but the locals hate them.

2. Walls are not that robust to keep out noisy neighbours, but to be honest we heard little noise after 9pm (everyone seems to eat at 6pm and then go to bed.
