It's really
noisy
at night between the surf (no gentle waves hitting the shore - it's big waves crashing against rocks) and the highway (every motorcycle and truck sounded like it was a few feet away).

Yes, our room was a bit
noisy
during the day as it was right next to the road but at night there were very few cars out and the sound of crashing waves made for deep sleep.

First of all reading some of the reviews on here, I noticed some of the complaints about the 'dated' furniture, and '

Nice view of the ocean, of course, but the water doesn't gently lap onto the shore -- it crashes onto rocks, making for a
noisy
night.

Ali'i Drive is busy and can be
noisy
, but the ocean drowns out all exterior sounds.

what more can one ask for for about $100 bucks? The sea is admittedly a little
noisy

After spending 5 nights in a fairly
noisy
hotel in the bustling Waikiki, it was a delight to be here.

I loved going to sleep to the sound of the crashing waves but can fully understand why others may find it too
noisy
.
