2. The rooms were nice and it looked like Marriott is undergoing a re-model of the rooms as half the tower we stayed in was closed (and we never once heard any noise from the workers).

8. They are currently building the new Disney resort next to the Marriott so you hear construction noises during the day and some of the walking paths are closed due to construction.
