1. I'm allergic to feather bedding, which isn't an uncommon complaint but although the hotel were able to offer polyester pillows they didn't have any duvets to replace the feather one so it was taken away and we were given a couple extra blankets which weren't as warm and we ended up having to sleep with the heating on which wasn't ideal.

In reading other reviews of the Adagio, it's my observation that many who gave it four stars in fact have complaints that warrant a lower grade, especially given the hotel's so-called 'luxury' category, the apparently misleading photographs published the hotel, and other details mentioned in the prior reviews.

5. Any ridiculous complaints about popcorn ceilings, bathroom sink configuration or other aesthetics are made by people who do not belong in boutique hotels and cannot appreciate the unique quirkiness.
