6. Ours wasn't bad at all, but a little bit of more space couldn't hurt (although it would be very difficult since the hotel is build from the structure of a victorian house or mansion .

8. It was in a good location in SF, which is mostly quite safe (as safe as you can be in this city, where good neighbourhoods are always bordered by bad neighbourhoods).

10. Two points to consider - courtyard rooms are very quiet, streetside rooms a little less so, although our friends said it was not bad.
