1. Yes it was a bit dated and no it did not have a flat screen TV, but we weren't in Hollywood to sit in our hotel.

4. As others have said, the rooms are a bit dated (ours also had a peeling ceiling in the bathroom and the laminate on the linen closet was sort of melted) but everything is very clean, which is what matters to us.
