1. The downsides, absolutely impossible to figure out the design maze and to find your room without a LOT of effort, no lift to the second floor, so be prepared to lug your bags, and a very overstressed wireless internet system.

Clean room near airport with 24 hour shuttle to airportFree breakfast using budget hotel standard (don't expect 5 star hotel breakfast)I don't hear any airplane noise at night or I'm so tired after long flight to US :)The only downside is public transportation for those stay more than 1 day (mine only 1 day transit) as there is not much option, the only good option is take bus to aviation/lax metro station from intersection where metro will take you to other part of LA.

3. The only downside was a lack of a safe in the room to store your valuables, but I guess most people are only staying for 1 night so it probably isn't much of an issue then.

4. The Travelodge was ideal for this, the only downside was we had to ring for the shuttle bus to pick us up from the airport - most other hotels run buses automatically, and so we had a wait of about 30mins.
