1. Yes the rooms are tiny & sparse.

2. It is a tiny room, but they pack a lot of awesome stuff other motels do not, like flat screen televisions, refrigerators, awesome air conditioner, brand new carpet and a queen and twin bed.

The rooms are just big enough for a very comfortable bed, a folding chair, a big flat screen TV on the wall, a couple of small bedside tables with lamps, a small closet (no light which was a tad annoying to me) and your basic tiny bathroom, shower no tub but great water pressure (always a plus for my husband).
