Although we had a few problems (
broken
shower faucet, no exhaust fan) The Dana is a great place to stay in that it was clean, convenient to nearly everything around San Diego, reasonable, and has excellent on site restaurants/grounds/facilities.

BIG MISTAKE -- we didn't find out until my husband was taking our luggage to the front for taxi pickup (checkout time) that the porter must have
broken
one of the wheels on the largest piece of our brand new luggage (not cheap) while trying to drag it up the stairs and probably banging it in the process.

While I understand that problems like this happen there was no offer to do anything to make up for the problem, nothing more than a "oh, sorry - the lock must be
broken
.
