3. Air conditioning / heat was adequate and ventilation was pretty even throughout the room, although I had to adjust the register the first night to avoid an unpleasant draft while attempting to sleep (no further problems with this, once corrected).

5. it`s pretty bad when I have to move from my room to avoid a smoker in a 'smoke - free' hotel(isn`t that an oxymoron?).

6. If you turn right outside the hotel is an area we avoided, as there always seemed to be groups of pan handlers - they were not threatening, but they did come up to you - this was a couple of blocks away.
