1. The guy at reception was friendly and the room was nicer than what I expect - bare bones but still acceptable conditions.

2. Then noticed later some things that indicated it was not: some mold/mildew in the tub/shower - but quite acceptable, older style bathroom fixtures - all of which worked fine, non-matching chairs, one with a small hole in the upholstery.
