1. Also loved the room decor, the NYSC located within the bldg on the 6th floor, I believe, after a long day of paving the ground aroun town.

I could spend all day listing everything I loved about the hotel and the city - but in short - The crowne plaza was fabulous and so was the trip to NYCIt is located near quite a few subway stations, and also most of the major attractions of the city are easily walkable (ie the various shows, 'top of the rock' 5th ave, etc)We flew British Airways Glasgow to Newark via heathrow.

4. The hotel has recently been refurbished and it looks great; our room was lovely; spacious, very comfortable, with plenty of hot water, it was spotlessly clean, and if we'd had time to watch it there was a TV with a huge choice of channels.

7. Although I loved the former setting on the 46th floor because of the view and openness, I adjusted to the new setting because of the availability of a late afternoon tea and snacks to tide me over before going out for the evening.
