3. You have to pay to use the internet on the computers provided by the hotel, but surrounding ones have free wifi that you can link into if you have a laptop with you.

The desk staff turned out to be of minimum help in suggesting parking garages (free parking was listed as an amenity, but that turned out to be non-existant street parking (no available spaces)), dining locations or even posting an "out of order" sign on a vending machine that took your money but didn't work.

5. I can only think myself lucky that one of the four hotels the receptionist at the West Side phoned had a free room for the nights we were staying as I can't imagine any assistance would have been offered had this not been the case.
