1. This hotel is for those who want in city apartment style accommodations at a reasonable price and NOT for those who want large opulent style hotel with all the trimmings and costs that go with it.

3. PS: you'll probably need/want a car for at least part of your Portland visit and there is an Enterprise location just a few blocks away - they were very reasonable as compared to the airport rates we heard so much about.

Park Lane Suites is one of my favorite Portland hotels--surrounded by nice big trees, great for walking, reasonably priced, free parking, with kitchens and separate bedrooms--And I do wish the management would consider opening up some of the more attractive rooms for dog owners, for perhaps a higher deposit.

10. I have stayed at the Park Lane Inn numerous times over the past 5 years and I always find a reasonable rate, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
