1. The TV didn't work, and I learned the hard way that blue does not mean colder on their shower handle.

4. The bathrooms are old and offer very little space, the lighting is awful and the shower dripped water.

6. Many of us in the group had trouble sleeping until I found out that by taking the shower cap from the 'luxury amenities' in the bathroom (read as one soap that you had to move from the tiny tiny sink to the tiny tiny shower) and putting it over the thermostat, and opening the grate on the air conditioner, I could get it to run for longer periods of time.
"Read ALL the reviews before you consider staying here! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/6/2007 Vote
7. The property could use renovations (upholstery was a little threadbare and our shower controls lacked a handle) but the bed was good, the maid service was excellent and the hustle of M Street was offset by quiet walks along the historic canal at the rear of the hotel.
"Location, Location, Location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/24/2007 Vote
8. Have to duck to get into the shower because the shower rod is only about 5 feet high.
"May have once been a grand old hotel but now it is just OLD " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/11/2012 Vote
9. I showered, changed and dashed off to my meeting.

10. I arrived on the red eye from San Francisco at 7 AM and the organization arranging my stay had paid extra to have the room ready early since I had to shower, change and make an 8:30 meeting.
