1. There was some confusion where they wanted me to move to a double - I'd booked a twin, but this was cleared up quickly with the friendly manager.

Asked manager for compensation the next morning: he replied their outsource laundry had flooded causing delays and they wouldn't compensate because it was not their fault ( notwithstanding they had nearly doubled prices for fashion week), and then he blamed it all on hurricane Irene which had been over 2 weeks prior.
