The only downside is that since we were traveling with friends we asked in advance for a room with two beds but they told us we couldn't make and advance request and would give us what they had available, when we arrived they only had a room with a king size bed which is strange for a hotel over 30 stories high, but in the end they kindly put up a spare bed for us at no extra charge although not as comfortable.

7. If you are a guest of this hotel and you go have a drink at the THE VIEW in TIMES SQ (A very cool revolving bar & restaurant in the Marriott Marquis) - show them your MARRIOTT KEY CARD and you won't have to pay the cover charge.
