1. Chris at the front desk offered a complimentary upgrade to a 29th floor room ( we had chosen the upgrade to a lakeview but certain floors are key-entry only so I assume they are the preferred accomodations) and with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan, and for our special occasion, also sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne which arrived with a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries.

7. If you don't feel like walking or a taxi, they have the complimentary Acura house car service available from 12pm-8pm to take you in style to anywhere within 5 miles (dropoff only) but be sure to make a reservation.

Here is a summary of my experience:Positive:- Large, attractive room overlooking the lake (beautiful view) and Navy Pier- Friendly staff- Complimentary breakfast for business travelers on Wednesdays (although breakfast was very light, and bagels were stale)- Nice outside sitting area for breakfastNegative- Setup with the bathroom is odd - has window into the bedroom, but I was alone so that didn't matter- If your business is in downtown, plan to spend $10 each way on a cab- Hotel is not convenient to the train station- Acura experience is only available from noon to seven; so won't work for business travelers; and the Acura doesn't pick up from locations, just takes you places Overall, the hotel was good, and I would stay here again.
