3. We had cocktails in the new bar, Over Vine, which had a really great vibe, dinner downstairs at McCormick & Schmick, and brunch the next morning at Ingredients (Yum!).

4. My prior review largely still stands (this place does not have much character etc) but to give credit where it is due I have to note that the Westin has taken one of their conference rooms and turned it into a rather nice bar and lounge.

6. The lobby bar, albeit small, was very nice, open only in the evening, and the bartender was very cordial, friendly and went out of his way to make conversation with you and be hospitable.

7. Had a small sitting area in the room itself and the Westin Luxury bed which was very comfortable, a large desk, a small bar, and around the corner, the bathroom and entry/exit door.

8. The lobby bar caters to late nighters like me, and Thad (excellent bar tender) can put together anything you'd like.

They have eliminated any restaurant that would serve breakfast other than the casual take-out oriented 'Ingredients' and their once pleasant sports bar/restaurant downstairs has been converted into a McCormick and Schmidt seafood restaurant not affiliated with the hotel and thus with no room service option at all.
