Among those things missing were a fridge with a minibar, a shower cap, a free wifi, a proper blanket - you basically have to cover yourself with a very thick bed cover, which is a bit old and shabby looking - even though you do it on top of a sheet it's still not very hygenic as people put suitcases and so on top of it.

5. The shower head had enough water pressure (this is my biggest pet peeve about hotel rooms - I hate it when I can spit more volume than the shower head can shoot out.

7. I had been looking forward to a nice long soak in the tub upon my arrival, but lo and behold I found that I was staying in a property that really was trying to seem 'European' - which means they have no bathtubs - just a shower area with it all being part of the bathroom floor.
