1. So I would suggest this hotel only if you have the money to relax there and be taken care of, but if not, then beware of selecting any of Hotwire's unnamed four-star hotels in downtown LA for $60-65 because it's a trap--the hotel will get your money anyway.

2. We went on Priceline to save money, but ended up spending more on parking and breakfast, but that doesn't take away the fact that the Marriott downtown is a beautiful hotel.

3. On this hotel's behalf, they did offer an amenity of a small bottle of wine, some pretzels and a bowl of fruit, but I'd rather they save their money on amenities and just hire a housekeeping staff that actually does their jobs, or start renovating the rooms.
