1. we rented a car also and the 12 dollar per day parking rate is the best in the area.

6. Yes the room was small - but hey - I was on my own and wasn't paying top rates but it was clean (and immaculately maintained) and the bed was comfortable.

7. I stayed two nights at the Fig recently; the hotel was selected by my company for its proximity to our event venue (Club Nokia/LA Live is literally right across the street) and low rates (I would have preferred to stay at the Marriott/Ritz Carlton across the street).
