4. That being said, Topaz still out-ranks any chain-type hotel in its class simply because of the uniqueness and the small benefits of being an In-Touch member, like free items from the mini bar, room requests, custom-request of newspapers, etc.The bright spots were the housekeeping staff.

5. Important note - accepting the key to the mini bar adds a mini bar charge of $17+ per day on your room - we didn't know this and disputed the charges with no problem in the end - they were apologetic.
