1. I am a generally relaxed traveller and easy to plase, and even with certain problems with the building and rooms, good service can make up for so much; you will not get that at this hotel, and the desk staff is strikingly disengaged (or, more likely, jaded from all the complaints they receive due to the longtime poor condition of the hotel).

7. ' While standing in the lobby trying to reach some remedy to our problem, another guest was waiting for the clerk to complain that the bedding she had requested be changed had not, and she knew this because her husband had killed a cockroach in the bed that morning and the 'evidence' was still there.

8. The bathroom door was very narrow (18 inches), so this could be a problem for a large person.
