1. great location, walk to Georgetown.

2. What you don't get -- a fancy bar with overpriced drinks (but plenty are within a block or two); great food (though there is adequate room service); a touristy gift shop (but there's a 24 hour drugstore nearby for essentials); AND a $400/night bill.

3. Large rooms with furniture so that you don't have to eat or work on your bed; great location, a short walk to Metro and to Georgetown, as well as Dupont Circle, among other hotspots; friendly, attentive service; clean bathrooms that work (even if they're not the most modern); flat screen tv (but if you're here for the tv, what are you doing here?).
