2. The town of Kihei is basically a strip mall with one good dinner restaurant (Cafe O'Lei) and a few decent places to buy lunch.

4. We used our timeshare at Maui Hill the first 7 nights we were recently on Maui, and figured correctly, since it was the slow season, we'd have no problem finding a decent booking for the last 4 nights of our stay.
