2. What we can tell you is that our room was spacious and the kitchenette was helpful-food is expensive on Maui and you can save a few dollars buy buying things at the supermarket instead of going to restaurants for some meals.

8. Teresa, the desk agent, helped us book a fantastic dinner cruise (on the Pride of Maui) and also spent a great deal of time showing us how to get around to our various destinations on the island (Road to Hana, Haleakala, etc.

Since there were just the 2 of us, we didn't rent the back bedroom hotel unit, 214B and didn't miss not having an air conditioner, although, in retrospect, when the vog from the volcano on the Big Island moved in the last two days of our stay, an air conditioner might have helped with the air quality.
