1. We rented the condo with friends and they had the 'hotel room' (which sleeps 2) and we had the other room (which supposedly sleeps 4).

If I were to go back to Maui I would: look no place any further, take friends and family with me, get an ocean view, stay long, rent snorkeling gear, beach chair and umbrella on the first day, enjoy the hotel, its beach and closeness to Wailea and Kihei shopping and restaurants, fall sleep to the sound of ocean.
