The free wi-fi worked better in some parts of the room than in others, but once you figured out where the 'magic spot' was, it was easy to keep in touch with the 'outside world' [I kept a daily blog to keep friends & family updated and to share pictures and details while they were still fresh in my mind.

6. After visiting other towns on Kauai, I would not stay in Kapa'a again, better weather and beaches either to the north or south.

10. Special rates are an unbelievable value - definitely not for a condo/resort experience but if you like to go 'do' the beaches during the day and relax with wine on the beach you can't do better than this gem.
