1. Without a jeep you have to use the island bus service which is good and will take you 7 miles to the only beach with access by tarmac road, although one of the best beaches on the island.

2. Renting a car and all the activities are very expensive on Lanai so we skipped those and the best thing in Lanai was seeing spinner dolphins (it was a totally huge herd of them.
