4. Without a jeep you have to use the island bus service which is good and will take you 7 miles to the only beach with access by tarmac road, although one of the best beaches on the island.

5. The rooms with a balcony are good, although Lanai city is about 1500 feet above sea level so to sit out in the evenings it can be cool.
