1. One warning: on days when the restaurant is not open for dinner, the hotel staff leaves around 5 o'clock, so if you want service (ice, for example), you had better get it before 5.

6. If you've spent the money to come all the way to Hawaii and Lanai, you would be better served spending a little extra to stay and dine at the Four Seasons resorts or sample the local 'grinds' at the Blue Ginger Cafe or Canoes.
