1. Great boutique hotel a couple of blocks off Union Square, less than comparable hotels nearby but beautiful antique furnishings, comfy beds, upscale linens and convenience make this a great value.

3. The location was very convenient, just a couple of blocks from Union Square at the corner of Geary and Taylor, across the street from the Clift Hotel, which offers one of San Francisco's most unique lobby bars.

Location is very nice It's conveniently close to Union Square and Bart station but be aware it's also close to a very bad neighborhood known as the Tenderloin so if you're not familiar with the city and decide to stay here you better ask which streets you're not supposed to walk into for safety reasons .
