3. The staff were apparently all replaced (except 11) after the two year shutdown; the new waitstaff, bellboys, and cleaners are all wonderful, where you're really made to feel extremely welcome.

4. Nevertheless, we shall return on our next visit to LA since the setting is so beautiful and serene (except perhaps for the excessive number of LA types (non-hotel guests) who come for a drink or to be seen at breakfast or lunch.
