1. In rating this hotel itself, I would say that the room was clean just run down - desperately needs the planned renovation.

8. We just wanted somewhere clean and decent to stay, and the rates for the Wilshire Hotel were equivalent to several other subpar, 2-3 star accommodations.

The room was clean and the security seemed to be right on top of things when it came to people entering and exiting the front doors and the elevators, and the location was convenient if you need to stay in the area of Korea Town for business etc, but just be aware if you have to hang out in the facility, you can expect the above mentioned concerns.
