5. The Maui Mana Kai was a terrific property for the price and is one of the nicer condos in the Kihei/Wailea area.

The owners included simple but much appreciated things like beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment etc. The unit also had a very well equipped kitchen and their was a great deli/store on the main floor (prices were high but not really much higher than anywhere else we bought food at on the island).

7. Zacks was a great little convenience - and yes some items were pricey - but the necessities were the same prices as any local convenience store.

10. Our last two nights there, we stuffed ourselves at the 3 to 6 pm half price appetizer and Mai Tai special at the Five Palms, and that was a satisfying substitute for dinner.
