I was very disappointed when I get a knock on the door at 11:30pm for
housekeeping
to clean my room.

The carpet was filthy, the window had probably never been cleaned, and the room was located next to the
housekeeping
station (or at least it sounded like that at midnight and 2am).

But I think
housekeeping
did a decent job of ensuring a good standard of cleanliness in the bathroom and bed, which were the only 2 places that mattered to me.

I was unable to contact either
housekeeping
or the concierge by internal phone, the calls just rang out.

On one of the days in July we arrived at 5:30 a.m. We were told rooms are vacant but need cleaning but
housekeeping
doesn't come in until 8:30 a.m. Also they had so much trouble with their computer system during the earlier morning hours.

The bed was actually pretty comfortable, so it was even more frustrating that I was woken up by the
housekeeping
staff in the middle of the night.

But until I read here that
housekeeping
has their act together, I won't stay here again.

If
housekeeping
didn't have the equipment or materials to deal with this is one thing, but not to tell the front desk and keep them from giving out this litterbox of a room is inexcusable.
