2. Although the Surf and Racquet Club is near the end of Ali'i, its proximity to the shopping mall and the ability to take the highway into Kona-Kailua made it more convenient than some other condos technically closer to town.

3. Everyday we went exploring and the guide we used was called Hawaii the Big Island Trailblazer which uses highway milemarkers in their driving directions.

4. Try breakfast at the Sweet Ohana Grill-75-5711 Kuakini Highway it is a pink building that is also a candy shop, right down the street is The Big Island Grill which has good hawaiian style food also.
