4. The lanai directly overlooking the ocean provided for views of whales (we lucked out -- February is a high season for whales on that side of the island) and dolphins, the sounds of the waves, and sunsets that were unbeatable (one of my favorite memories of Hawaii).

7. The buildings have no air conditioning which is not really necessary for temperature control (wonderful ocean breezes), but for noise control, it would have been nice to close the windows at night.

10. Even if the unit is not oceanfront ( the ocean is behind another condo of the resort) you have a beautiful sight from the lanai, palms, flowers and golf green.
